Get more Time out of your Time

Did you Know that motivation is the big key in Time management? With out it you would do nothing.
There are many factors in life that can give us motivation to do what we have to do. The things that get are wheels turning in our minds are caused by different situation in our own personal life such as in most cases, financial freedom.
What most people do is go out and get a job or try to. Depending on your financial hardship, it usually will govern how hard you are willing to try and what you are willing to do for work.
So It Is you who has to decide how much are you willing to do in order reach your own financial dream!
To get started on the quick path may take other skills that you don't have right now and may have to hire out. The other skill you can learn later when you do have more time. This can save you hundreds if not thousands of hours and while there was a cost involved, it was well worth it because as your sites are being built, you can focus on making money.

I know there are people who will spend countless hours trying to design their own capture page instead of hiring Mona's Designs (which is offered by the way) to do one for them. The cost to have it done is around $70 and they do a much better job on the capture pages than most people would and while you have to spend some money, it is money well spent because while your site is being built, you can focus on selling and making money.

Nobody can do everything and do it well, so leave some things to the experts and focus on what you know. This will save you time, you'll have a better product and you can use that time for something else.

Don't bite off more than you can chew: How many times have you heard that in your life? If you are trying to promote multiple programs and not succeeding with any of them, you need to get rid of some and focus on one or two.

Really what you should focus on is building your list because without that, it won't matter what you get involved with, you will be fighting an uphill battle that will be very difficult to win.

Stay Focused: The great thing about the Internet is that you have access to everything in the world. The bad thing about the Internet is that you have access to everything in the world!

There are times when I find myself wondering the scores of sports games or what the weather will be tomorrow, so poof, I head over to ESPN or Weather.com and 20 - 30 minutes later, I realize what I have done is just wasted 20 - 30 minutes and then I get back to work.

Hey, it is easy to do this 2 - 3 times a day and pretty soon, you have lost more than hour that you should have been using to work on your business, but once that time is gone, you can't get it back.

This is why, when your mind starts to wonder, get your focus back and finish the business you set out to do.

Follow an Agenda: The reason a set agenda is so important is because it gives you the road map to get from point A to point B and beyond. You should write an agenda for each day and follow it religiously. Once you have accomplished the points of the agenda for each day, then you can take a break and surf the Internet for fun.

Have Fun: You can't work 24/7 and you can't allow yourself to get stressed to the point that your work is no longer fun. The game site I own is called FunOtter.com and we named it because there is a saying about Otters. "If an Otter can't have fun doing something, he just won't do it".

If you like what you do, it won't seem like work and if you love what you do, you will want to do it more, so make your work fun and love what you do because you can always find time to do what you love.

Give something up now for something better in return: This was the saying my dad drilled into my head when I was a kid and it really stuck with me. Well, having something drilled into your head will do that! The point about this is that although you might love watching sports or one of the reality shows or a soap opera, give them up for a while and invest that time in your business.

You don't have to give them all up, but honestly if you're watching television more than an hour a day, you're watching too much television because television is not going to make you a dime.

According to the Nielsen ratings, the average American watches about 5 hours of television per day; Canadians watch about 3 hours per day as do people in the UK; Australians watch about 3.5 hours per day and the Japanese watch close to 4 hours per day. Of all the major countries in the world, people in Sweden watch the least, but they still watch close to 2 hours per day.

You want to have more time for your business, turn off the television and get to work. Even if you take the above numbers and halve them, that means Americans watch about 75 hours of television per month. Take half that time and people could easily find almost 40 hours per month to work on their business.

I don't know about you, but I can get a lot done in 40 hours of work and all we ask people to spend on 12SC is about 2 and a half hours per week.

Skip desserts: Now this might sound like a funny way to save time, but let's say you only have dessert with your meal 4 times per week and it takes about 15 minutes to eat the dessert. That's one more hour you can invest in your business and make yourself a little healthier at the same time.

Remember it's the little things that add up over time. The same concept goes to work when people tell you they can't afford to invest in your business. If you show them how much they waste on junk every month, they would be amazed because most people waste $2- $3 per day on stuff they don't need. That's $60 - $90 they could use to invest in their business.
So other wards if you change that habit the extra money will be there for your business.

Adjust your sleep habits: Most people go to bed and get up at about the same time each day and while this is a good habit to have, if you adjust your bedtime and getting up time by just 10 minutes each way, you will have an additional 20 minutes per day to invest in your business and that means you have another 2+ hours per week to build your business.

And you know what, after about a week, your body will adjust to your new times just fine and you won't ever miss those 20 minutes of sleep per day.

Forget the Gossip and idle chat: Don't waste your time talking with anyone about someone else or what a movie star or sports figure is doing. Who Cares? It wastes your time to listen and you can invest that time in your business.

Depending on which stat you believe, people gossip anywhere from 10 minutes per day to 30 minutes per day. Let's take the 10 minute average and give you another hour plus per week to work on your business instead of chatting about someone or something that has no bearing on your life at all.

Idle chat is something that everyone puts up with at one time or another, but you can politely tell the chatter that you are busy and can you get back with them. Of course, you never get back with them but it keeps things simple and there will be no hard feelings.

I have had people in the past who call me and are just looking for someone to talk to and while I know some people need that outlet, I had to let them know that I am busy and don't have time to chat. If they have a problem or specific question, I will be glad to take their call and answer them, but just to call and chat is out.

Believe me when I tell you this can take quite a few hours per week if you allow people to talk about things that you have no desire to talk about. You need to be nice but firm so you can do the things in life that are really important to you.

So there you have it, the ways you can save time and get more time from your 24 yours of life per day. How you use this additional time is all up to you, but if you put it to good use and especially if you are building a business online and you invest that time back into your business, you will see a huge increase in cash flow and you will be a happier person for that.
